The Communications Department is responsible for keeping the Edible community well informed about important changes, to all support areas of the business. The Communications Department is the gate keeper for all communications that leave the corporate office and as such, works in partnership with other key functions within our corporate office to ensure timely and accurate sharing of information.
Our communications are sent out in several different ways depending on the nature of the communication and its urgency. The following are a few ways you will receive communications:
- Edible Knowledge Page Posting
- eMail – Via the stores email address
- Help Desk– via MyTickets
The Department publishes several key pieces of communications:
- BerryDirect Update (BDU) – Published every Thursday and designed to keep you informed of any and all sales that related to the purchase of store level supplies offered/sold by Berry Direct.
- Targeted Communications – Published as needed and will be directly at specific locations regarding information, process changes, or other business critical information for those stores only.
- Initiatives – Created when needed these are different from communications as they create a trackable ticket within the nCompass system which can then be directed solely to the location owner and be confidential.
The Department is also responsible for collection of data related to requested system surveys from any of the corporate office departments.
The Department also handles request for Media Inquiries from the general public via Media@edible.com email address.
