Door Dash Drive
We utilize Door Dash Drive (DDD) to assist with deliveries when we a driver shortage or get a last-minute order that we are unable to use our own Delivery Ambassadors to complete. We have set-up an integrated system with DDD that allows our users to login to EA Connect and view all the orders for the current day. Within that system they can select the order, then select a time for pickup. Once that is completed the user presses the submit button. The system will then reach out to DDD and request a quote for that delivery. The DDD system will return the results showing the confirmation of the time and price for the delivery. The user then has the ability accept or reject the quote. If they select accept a DDD Driver will be dispatched to the store at the designated time for pick-up.
The stores are responsible for the payment of their individual DDD account and must set-up payment arrangement with DDD prior to utilizing the service. We have encouraged DDD to require each owner to provide an ACH/Credit Card on file for monthly payments. We also have encouraged DDD to remove access to the service if the location is past 45 days due or more than 2K in arrears. We don’t allow stores to use personal email addresses when signing up for any approved third-party services only the store.edible email addresses are allowed.
