EZCater Program
What: To drive additional sales and brand awareness, Edible is relaunching our partnership with EZCater to all stores in the continental United States. Moving forward, all stores will be participating in this program.
How: Customers will place their catering orders on the EZCater website. The EZCater team will then forward the order to our corporate store support team, who will enterprise the order to your store through SMS. Specific store locations are chosen by EZCater based on availability of products and distance from the drop-off location.
If the care team deems your store unable to fulfill the order, they will send the order to another store in your area. While most of the orders will be for the next day, we have set the production time for 2.5 hours to ensure that you're able to fulfill these larger orders.
When: We will be live on EZCater for all zips we service, beginning 12/12. The entire onboarding process will be handled by our corporate team, so there is nothing you need to do for this program. Stores will receive orders by way of SMS that are designated as an “E” or Enterprise orders from store #94. With 447 stores already using EZCater, we are expecting this to be a quick process and will allow you to capture those last-minute holiday party sales.
Handling: EZCater orders will be handled and delivered like all other web orders, with the exception that we have a timing element that needs to be adhered to; the use of UberDirect is highly encouraged in addition to your Delivery Ambassador and DoorDashDrive to deliver these orders.
EZCater orders must be prepared and ready for pick-up 15 minutes before the anticipated pick-up time.
Changes to existing EZCater accounts: $100 order minimum on all orders. This ensures that the customer is ordering enough products to allow for a better return in revenue.
- EZDispatch will no longer be an option at this time, due to the higher costs associated with this feature.
- You will no longer receive emails, texts and/or calls from EZCater. Edible will be managing this partnership at the corporate level and processing all order acceptances. Additionally, EZManage portals will be transitioning to corporate administration so existing stores will no longer have access to this portal.
Billing/Reporting: Your store will be funded on Fridays for all EZCater orders from the prior week. These transactions will be visible on the NetFunding dashboard. EZCater fee structure is the same as all other Third-Party Programs at 27%.
Menu: Edible Corporate will maintain/update the menu with seasonal products and make changes based on sales performance of products.
