Used correctly, coupons, vouchers and promotions are an effective means of generating sales and ensuring traceability of marketing campaigns. Coupons help to drive sales by giving consumers an incentive to place their order with Edible, as well as a sense of urgency to take advantage of the offer before it expires. In addition, the unique coupon code assigned to each coupon allows for effective tracking and reporting of specific marketing activities.
Edible® Coupon Acceptance Policy requires that all unexpired coupons up to a $5 value from any source must be honored in every Edible Store.
Every unexpired coupon promotion initiated by the Support Center, regardless of value, must also be honored in every store.
All stores are expected to honor each promotion and coupon offer to ensure that we are WOW-ing our customers with superior service, no matter where they order from or what coupon offer inSpired them to purchase. People share coupons with family and friends across the country and customers do not recognize that a locally generated coupon may not be valid in a different store. Edible will process all complaints related to failure to honor Edible coupons.
Usage of Coupons in Local Advertising
Edible ad templates include customizable coupon areas. The coupon must include the following information: coupon value, expiration date, disclaimers and coupon code.
Coupon disclaimers will indicate the terms and restrictions associated with a coupon such as “Not valid on select products” or “not valid in combination with another offer.” You may choose whether to enforce these restrictions.
All locally generated coupon codes need to be approved by the Ecommerce and Marketing teams to ensure a unique code is not already in use nationally or by Edible elsewhere. Local Store Coupon codes should be 8 characters as follows:
• The first four characters are letters.
• The last four characters are numbers.
• If the coupon is greater than the typical 4 letter 4 number combination, it must end in the store number.
