Obtaining EA’s Approval of the Lease
Once EA has approved your proposed Edible® store location, you may submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to the landlord and begin the lease negotiations and leasing process. Please see a sample "Letter of Intent" located in the forms section to the right.
The EA Real Estate Team must review, evaluate, and approve the proposed lease for the location prior to its execution. The EA Real Estate Department does not negotiate your lease on your behalf. The Real Estate Department will review your lease and communicate with the landlord or their representative to assure that certain provisions are included in the lease that protects EA and the franchised brand.
You are strongly advised to review the lease with your personal attorney. As previously stated, EA cannot negotiate the lease on your behalf. Therefore, it is recommended that you retain the services of an attorney to represent your interests.
