You are required to integrate the elements required by EA into your Customer Service Area décor plans. All décor variations or additions must be pre-approved by EA. You can find the décor specifications on your store layout provided to you by the EA Design and Construction Team. Please note that layouts change frequently prior to approval by EA. Only layouts labeled with an APPROVED stamp and date should be used as a reference for specific design finishes required by location. This information is necessary for your general contractor to have and refer to throughout the build out of your Edible® business. The layout will provide you with the following schedules:
- Flooring
- Lighting
- Electrical/Data
- Ceiling
- Merchandising fixtures
- Finishes (including paint colors and required wall coverings)
All specifications must be followed exactly as your layout dictates. Decor and equipment requirement updates will be made periodically to maintain a branded, contemporary look in our stores. If you need to replace an item or repair areas of the storefront, or are interested in updating aspects, you must contact the Construction Team for the most up to date specifications.
All employees are responsible for maintaining the appearance of the retail area in your Edible® store. You are required to integrate the following details into your store front design, merchandise displays, and daily maintenance:
- Display approved product images on the walls and windows as produced by the approved vendor and instructed in EA provided Plan-o-Grams (see “Signage” under the chapter “My Store Marketing).
- Display brochures and ordering information produced only by the EA approved vendor.
- Display additional items for sale and display pieces (such as balloons, plush, keepsake containers and greeting cards) using merchandising and product produced by EA approved vendors on the approved shelving units.
